The Austin Film Festival is happy to announce its 15th Annual Screenplay and Teleplay Competitions!
Screenplay categories: Drama (Historical, Western, Drama, Family, Romance, Horror, Thriller, etc.) and/or Comedy (Dark, Satirical, Slapstick, and more).

This year there are TWO additional categories to enter:
*Latitude Production Award (www.latitudeproductions.com) and the SCI-FI Award (fantasy, horror, science fiction, surrealism, myth/legend and fantastical storytelling). To be considered for either Latitude Productions or Sci-Fi awards you must have your screenplay entered in either the Drama or Comedy Category.

Screenplay Postmarked Deadline: MAY 15th Entry Fee: $40
JUNE 1st Entry Fee: $50

Teleplay categories: Drama, Sitcom

This competition is open to spec _script_s for any network or cable television show that is currently in production (shows on hiatus due to the WGA strike are still eligible).

Winners will be announced at the 2008 Austin Film Festival and Screenwriters Conference held October 16-23, 2008.
